Supporting employers nationwide.Starting with Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana.
Working together

Five stages. Clear responsibilities.

Here’s what we coordinate and what we need from you along the way.

  1. 01

    Review your seasonal need

    Our team

Review your staffing need, discuss H-2B fit, and outline a proposed timeline and service costs.

    Your part

Share your season dates, crew size, job duties, worksite locations, and hiring history.

Next milestone: Decide whether to move forward with an engagement.

  2. 02

Build the case and confirm the wage

    Our team

Organize supporting records and prepare the prevailing wage request for your jobs and work locations.

    Your part

Provide business records, review job details, and plan your budget around the wage determination.

Next milestone: Wage determination received and application materials prepared.

  3. 03

File with DOL and recruit U.S. workers

    Our team

Coordinate the application and state job order, then track required recruitment and the certification process.

    Your part

Review and sign employer documents, consider U.S. applicants, and document recruitment results.

Next milestone: DOL decides whether to certify the temporary labor application.

  4. 04

Coordinate the petition and visa steps

    Our team

After certification, coordinate the USCIS petition. If approved, help organize applicable consular steps for workers abroad.

    Your part

Review and sign the employer petition, confirm worker information, and fund agreed fees and costs.

Next milestone: Agency decisions determine whether the case can proceed to arrival.

  5. 05

Prepare for arrival and the season ahead

    Our team

Coordinate arrival planning and organize the onboarding and compliance support in your engagement.

    Your part

Prepare the worksite, complete employer onboarding duties, and maintain required pay, hours, and records.

Next milestone: Authorized workers begin work within their approved terms.

Work backward from your first day of need.

Start planning months ahead so there is time to prepare records and obtain the prevailing wage determination.

75-90 days

The standard DOL application filing window before your date of need.

This window is one part of the process. Your full timeline also depends on document readiness, agency processing, visa availability, and any consular steps. We review those factors with you before setting a plan.

Your agent of record. Your business stays in control.

Connecting Labor USA is a consulting firm, not a law firm. We coordinate filings and the case calendar. You remain the employer and sign as the petitioner. Matters needing an attorney are handled by counsel under a separate engagement.

Before you get started

What should I have ready for the first call?

Your target start and end dates, approximate crew size, job roles, and worksite locations are a useful starting point. We’ll explain which business records are needed if you move forward.

Can you guarantee visas or a crew by my start date?

No. Visa availability, agency decisions, and consular processing can affect the outcome and timing. We help organize your case and explain these uncertainties before you commit.

What will I pay, and when?

$1,000 per visa, with a $3,500 minimum for crews of one to 3 workers. The estimate covers the service only; your engagement defines the final scope and billing basis. A $3,000 retainer is due at engagement and credited toward the total. The remaining service fee is due at DOL certification.

Can you help if my season is approaching?

Share your date of need and any existing wage determination or case documents. We’ll review the stage you’re at and discuss whether there is a workable path for your circumstances.
